Console Area LEVEL UP
Got a new dresser to store things in, as well as a nice stand to sit on top of the dresser to keep everything organized and separate. On top of the stand is just the old home theater amplifier to tie everything together to my speakers.
You’ll notice that everything fits nice and snug in the top drawer, but it’s kinda not organized, I honestly wish I had shelving for my games, but due to the impermanence of my housing, I doubt I’ll have anything really special anytime soon.
You’ll also notice that my Wii and 360 are missing. And you’d be kinda right. They’re currently packed up along with the games for them to be traded into the local Play N Trade because I don’t really use either of them, and I’d rather use the money to either get more retro games, or save up for a 3DS or PS3. I’ve got all this PS3 Rock Band shit sitting here and I WANT TO PLAY IT SO BAD.
That’s just about it, no new games yet unfortunately. Maybe I’ll get something new soon! There’s a few games I’d really like to have that I’ll be looking out for when I have the money.
Even gave it its own page, so it’s easier to find and edit. If you’re looking at this from my page, you can find a link on my sidebar, if not, there’s a handy link in the title of this post. Pretty proud of my little collection so far, here’s to hoping it keeps growing!
If you remember the previous list update, I had 360 games on there, but I’ve decided to omit them for now, mostly looking for this to be a list of previous-gen games. Which my 360 games might be added to soon, who knows!
Too much money later, I’m re-welcoming an N64 and some ultra cool games to my collection, including:
• Conker’s Bad Fur Day
• Cruisin USA
• Diddy Kong Racing
• Goldeneye 007
• Jet Force Gemini
• Star Wars Episode I: Racer
• Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
• Wave Race 64
4 of the games listed above were NOT made by Rare, it’s like they held the market on the 64. I’d have gotten DK64, but I want games that I either remember fondly, look like they might be decent, or are actually fun to play. DK64 does not fit into any of those categories, it’s awful and marked the beginning of the end for Rare. In addition, I grabbed Fester’s Quest and Rolling Thunder for the NES, they were cheap and they’re both pretty decent games.
